Albany Symphony Romances Valentines Day with Romeo and Juliet Feb 14

Looking for a romantic way to spend Valentine’s Day with your sweetheart? Shakespeare’s tragic Romeo and Juliet inspired night of music by the Albany Symphony might fit the bill. The evening will be set at Proctor’s Theatre in Schenectady, New York.

Conducted by JoAnn Falletta, who has been noted as one of the finest conductors of her generation by the New York Times, the evening will feature Jill Levy on violin and Jacek Muzyk on horn.

Music will include selections from Romeo and Juliet, as well as Bacchus et Ariane Suite and Smyth’s Concerto for Violin, Horn and Orchestra.
