Dustbowl Revival at The Egg on March 13th

The Dustbowl Revival will perform at The Egg Performing Arts Center on on March 13 at 8 p.m. in support of the January 31 release of their new album Is It You, Is It Me (Thirty Tigers).

Crowned the city’s “Best Live Band,” by the LA Weekly, this California ensemble pushes the boundaries of American roots music, combining and creating a fusion of folk, funk and soul music.

Produced by Sam Kassirer (Lake Street Dive, Josh Ritter) and engineered by Brian Joseph (Bon Iver, Sufjan Stevens), Is It You, Is It Me was recorded during a two-week flash session of intense creativity, sonic exploration and growth.

Their latest releases lean towards a more refined sense of pop, contrasting catchy melodies along side powerful lyrics.

Each of the band’s six core members played multiple instruments, with many of the songs layered and composed day-by-day in studio. But where the group really sets on a new course is their lushly cinematic set pieces like “Mirror”, which Rolling Stone Country recently named in their list of the 10 Best Americana & Country Songs To Hear Now.

The Dustbowl Revival is comprised of Z Lupetin (lead vocals/guitar), Liz Beebe (lead vocals) Connor Vance (violin/guitar), Matt Rubin (trumpet/fluegelhorn/keys) Ulf Bjorlin (trombones) and Josh Heffernan (drums/percussion).

Tickets are on sale for $25, and may be purchased here. Their new album can be streamed via Billboard here.
