Wave Farm offers Free Homeschool Radio Workshop for Teens
Jess Speer, an artist, teacher and Wave Farm fellow will be leading this free homeschool intensive course throughout the two week course during the Fall of 2020.

Participants will be working in both large and small groups as they create a radio project of collective choosing. Choices range from producing poetry, sound art, radio dramas, conducting research, experimenting with form and sound, and playing with audios in many formats. The emphasis will be on the process and experience rather than the “perfect” final product.
Interested in joining? Contact [email protected]. The workshop schedule will be designed to accommodate the schedule of ALL interested participants.
You may be wondering how Wave Farm has been combatting the changes in 2020. Many venues have pivoted over to remote audiences by using Wave Farm to stream live performances and events! These are often accompanied by radio broadcasts on WGXC 90.7 FM.

To take a listen at the live performances including, but not limited to some transmissions from inside a Wave Farm Pond station from morning until sundown, or for a 24/7 news feed channel, or drone synthesizers, click HERE.

Your charitable contributions make a world of difference, now more than ever!
If you value WGXC, and want to keep it a part of your daily life, we ask that you make a tax-deductible contribution to keep local and adventurous content freely available on the Upper Hudson Valley radio dial. Thank you so much for keeping independent voices and sounds on your radio dial.
