Cheers to Crafting Your Own Prohibition Cocktail
Across the nation, one hundred years ago, Americans prepared for the beginning of the era of Prohibition by having one last drink. The dry years that were to follow were filled with bootleggers, booze runners, and clandestine gatherings.
Join guest speakers Emmanuel Treski of Speakeasy 518 and Maeve McEneny of Discover Albany on Friday, October 2 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM for a night of lively virtual conversation featuring expert guidance on crafting your own Prohibition-style cocktails and an informal discussion of Albany’s unique relationship to infamous gangster Legs Diamond.
