Curious Comet announces socially distanced album release December 19th
Indi Alt-rock duo Bob Donald and Niki Kaos are launching a new album from their latest musical project, Curious Comet, with a very special concert event on Saturday, December, 19th, 2020 from 5pm to 8pm in Hoosick Falls. RSVP via the band’s website (curiouscomet.com) is required to secure a socially distanced table, and the venue location will be provided at the time of reservation. A catered menu of tacos, chili and cornbread, will be provided and vegetarian options are available. There is a cash bar, and non-alcoholic beverages as well. A suggested donation of $10 will be requested from attendees.

Curious Comet was born during COVID quarantine as a recording project by veteran musicians Bob Donald, and Niki Kaos. Using their time homebound to build an album from the ground up, the couple re-imagined their favorite songs, producing the entire album from their home studio. A true labor of love, all of the music was written, performed and recorded almost entirely by Bob and Niki, with accomplished local cellist Will Hayes adding some key atmospheres. Troy Pohl’s expert ear handled the mixing and mastering to bring the album to its full potential.
The album, titled Authentic Earth features dynamic songwriting about love, loss, relationships, family, the human condition and climate change. Their style can be likened to the Grateful Dead, REM, Wilco, Aimee Mann, and Ani Difranco, capturing the intimate singer-songwriter style and the expressiveness of psychedelic jams in their music.

Seating is limited, so don’t delay in securing your reservation for this very special event! Visit www.curiouscomet.com to request a table and learn more about the band!
