The Beat from Troy Music Hall #47, Hallelujah, The Vaccine is Here

“This world is full of conflicts and full of things that cannot be reconciled. But there are moments when we can… reconcile and embrace the whole mess, and that’s what I mean by ‘Hallelujah.'” – Leonard Cohen

Hallelujah!

This is happening, the vaccines are starting to arrive! You still have to wear your mask and practice socially distancing, but there is a light at the end of this stinky and bad tunnel (reference the SNL skit below). This week, New York vaccinated their first health care worker, critical care nurse Sandra. A big thank you to her and all the front line workers who’ve been working so hard. From medical professionals and all the people who keep the hospitals running, to the employees at supermarkets and shops, we appreciate all you are doing!

Filter out joy, happiness, toilet paper, and reason, and you will end up with 2020. Truly a dumpster fire of a year.

The Coolest Version of Singing in the Rain

We love this re-interpretation of this classic movie scene!

Singing in the Rain, the 1952 movie starring the amazing Gene Kelly, Debbie Reynolds, and Donald O’Connor, was the inspiration for this phenomenal, and really rather dangerous looking, ad for the Burberry clothing line.

All I Want for Christmas is You

This is “Dancing in Public with an iPod.” Obviously filmed quite a few years ago, but replace the iPod with your phone and earbuds and you are good to go. We dare you all to give this a try. It looks like a blast!
