SCHENECTADY — Legendary rock ‘n’ roll singer, songwriter and record producer Johnny Rivers will bring his repertoire of classic rock staples to the stage at the Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady Event Center on Friday, Sept. 10, at 8 p.m.

Tickets go on sale Monday, July 12, at 10 a.m. and start at $35. To purchase, visit, or the Proctors Theater box office in Schenectady.

A two-time Grammy-award winner, Rivers has sold more than 30 million records, with 29 chart hits including “Memphis,” “Secret Agent Man,” “Poor Side of Town,” “Baby, I Need Your Lovin’” and “Summer Rain”.   

Born in New York City, River’s historic career began when he was just 15 and recorded his first single, “Hey Little Girl,” which went on to become a regional hit. From there a string of hits followed, along with other amazing career highlights including his signing of The Fifth Dimension to his record label, appearances on all the major TV networks, a slot at The Monterey Pop Festival and numerous songs featured in major motion pictures.

The show, originally scheduled for April 25, 2020, is the first concert at the event center since Rivers Casino reopened in September 2020. All tickets purchased for the original show will be honored.
