Troy Music Hall Pairs Tunes and Tacos on September 10th
The Troy Savings Bank Music Hall announced an outdoor concert pairing music and food. “Creative Pairings: Tunes and Tacos with Quintocracy” will be held in the courtyard on Friday, September 10th at 6 pm.
Join Quintocracy for an evening of food and music featuring a pairing of tacos from La Capital Tacos with Latin-inspired music by Piazzolla, Medaglia, D’Rivera, and more.
Quintocracy is a wind quintet that presents concerts and workshops throughout our area and beyond. Playing a diverse repertoire ranging from Baroque to the present, the group plays anything written for a quintet. Its members are flutist Melanie Chirignan, oboist Kelly Lockwood, clarinetist Michael Dee, hornist Kathryn Svatek, and bassoonist Michael Danis. The group’s goal is to make chamber music accessible to everyone. They have been playing exemplary music programs and engaging audiences with conversations and humor throughout the region.
Tickets are $35 and include dinner and a seat to the concert. Tickets are very limited and must be reserved by September 8th.
