Metal Prog Rock to Shake Palace November 19
ALBANY — Heavy metal progressive group Mastodon is scheduled to play the Palace Theatre on Friday, November 17th, at 7 pm. They will be joined by Opeth, who will open for them.
The core lineup of Mastodon has been in place for 21 years, and the band continues to bring powerful music to the live concert experience for fans across the country. After facing their own tragedies, including the loss of their longtime friend and manager Nick John to pancreatic cancer, members Brann Dailor, Brent Hinds, Bill Kelliher and Troy Sanders’ brotherhood have helped them cope through the pandemic and beyond.

Opener Opeth is preparing to release their new record “In Cauda Venenum.” Years of Swedish and hard rock have paid off as this band returns home with this more natural and high quality sound.
Tickets are $39.50-$99.50, and go on sale Friday, September 17th at 10 am. Tickets can be purchased at ticketmaster.com, or at the Palace Theatre Box Office, 19 Clinton Avenue, in Albany between 12 noon and 4 pm.
