The Attic Classic: Are you in need of a dose of classic rock n roll with a dash of rockabilly? This one’s for you, then. In the early 80’s, roots-style music was making a comeback on the pop music charts. For Johnny Rabb and Eddie Angel, their mutual love for that sound didn’t depend on what was hot on the charts, it was its timelessness.

Rabb you might have seen in any number of bands over the years; tall, thin, with an ‘Elvis-like’ stage presence and a pompadour hairstyle that looks just right. Guitar slinger Eddie Angel left Rennselaer decades ago for Nashville to pursue his music career; quite a career it has become.

In 1982 the pair got together in a studio with other like-minded local musicians and produced a two-track live recording 45 record, released on Blotto Records. Side A is the rave-up Attic Classic – “Live It Up/Love It Up.”
