The Nth Power Headlining Two-Night New Year’s Eve Celebration at Lark Hall
Nationally acclaimed soul collective The Nth Power will headline a special two-night New Year’s Eve celebration at Lark Hall to ring in 2022. On Thursday, Dec. 30 the group performs a show-stopping Nirvana tribute set “Nth Utero” before hosting their New Year’s Eve celebration on Friday, Dec. 31 with special guests.

The Nth Power performs in support of their new studio album, Reverence, which garnered airplay from Sirius XM and was featured on the first-round ballot for 2022 Grammy nominations. Live in concert, the trio’s incendiary performances deliver a transcendent blend of soul, funk and rock that attests to the healing power of music.

The Nth Power aligns a handful of the most coveted backing musicians in the game: renowned funk drummer and vocalist Nikki Glaspie, Beyonce’s former world-touring drummer who’s supported talent like Maceo Parker, Sam Kininger, Chaka Kahn, Ivan Neville and Robert Randolph, and frequent guest on Late Night With Seth Meyers (returning as guest drummer with The 8G Band Dec. 6-9, 2021); guitarist and lead vocalist Nick Cassarino, known for his work with Jennifer Hartswick Band and Big Daddy Kane; and bassist Nate Edgar, a longtime member of Billboard chart-topping reggae outfit John Brown’s Body.

Since releasing their 2013 EP, Basic Minimum Skills Test, The Nth Power has garnered acclaim from Relix, Huffington Post, Offbeat, Consequence, Modern Drummer, Okayplayer, High Times, Curve Magazine and many others. After their first full-length album, Abundance, released in 2015 the band went on to release two live albums: 2016’s Live To Be Free and 2018’s Rebel Music: A Tribute to the Music and Message of Bob Marley as a testament to the power of their live show. After several years in and out of the studio, the band returned in 2021 to independently release their long-awaited sophomore album Reverence in September 2021.
