Best of 2021: Steve Nover’s Top Concerts

If you go to concerts in the Capital Region you’ve seen Steve Nover. Not only is he an established percussionist, but he is also an avid concertgoer. You can usually find him by the stage, or just off the side, dancing. When I get to a venue and see Steve, I know I picked the best concert to go to that night. He must have an internal compass that leads him to the best live music the area has to offer. Here’s Steve’s list of the Top shows he went to this year. – Jim

Great list Steve – is this in order of your favorites? We are truly blessed with touring national acts plus a great local music scene. Here’s to more great music in 2022!

Steve, that’s quite an eclectic list! There are ten shows you spotlighted which I’d have gone to if it were not for the pandemic (the last time I saw live music was in Feb. 2020).

Maybe 2023 will be safe for us all (no hope for 2022, as far I can tell) to hear live music again.

    Be safe and be well!
