The Sanctuary for Independent Media to Host Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration: Labor and Community United for Social Justice

TROY – On Monday, January 17, 2022, from 2:00pm – 4:30pm (EST) activist, community, and labor organizations across Troy and Rensselaer County will come together virtually for the Troy MLK 2022 Event “Labor and Community United for Social Justice.” The event will commemorate and celebrate the life and work of Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. 

Consisting of a diverse set of speakers, poetry from local artists, roundtable discussions featuring candidates of color who ran for public office in Troy and Rensselaer County in 2021, and a call for all to unite for social justice, the complete line-up of programming can be found below.
