Local Music Tournament Marches into the Sweet Sixteen
Things are beginning to heat up in our local version of the March Music Madness tournament this week. Your votes in the first two rounds have narrowed the field of 64 local, original artists down to the Sweet Sixteen. Now how do you choose between notables like The Sea The Sea and last year’s winner, Glass Pony? Or the Battle of Troy when Super 400 faces Girl Blue. Any one of these sixteen artists could go all the way and it just demonstrates how talented our local music scene really is… so make sure you vote for your favorites.
Everyone that wins this round will also win $100. That’s right, we are paying out cash to the top eight bands…

Look closely at the list of bands, there is literally something for everyone. Voting has been extremely close. Last week three matchups were decided by less than 30 votes and one contest was separated by only one vote.
Most importantly, remember to support ALL the artists, visit their Bandcamp pages, check into their websites or social media, and give a listen to their music prior to voting. Go see them live and buy merch, and if you like what you hear – share them with your friends and family. Music is love, so spread the love.

Without further ado. Your Sweet Sixteen…
