Beppe Gambetta to Perform at Old Songs on March 25th

VOORHEESVILLE – Continuing their Live In-Person Concert Series, Old Songs announced the performance of Beppe Gambetta, who is to appear on March 25th, at 7:30 pm.

In a world dominated by the trends and logic of the market, Beppe Gambetta’s playing and singing stand out. His is an inspired music that avoids relying solely on his technical excellence, but also reveals the innermost feelings of a brilliant, playful mind that is always exploring and innovating while staying firmly rooted in tradition. He naturally and seamlessly bridges the shores of two continents, creating a musical fusion of American roots and the Ligurian tradition, emigration songs and folk ballads, steel-string guitars and vintage harp-guitars.

” …spinning a thick weave that sometimes calls to mind what a duet by Doc Watson and Leo Kottke might sound like.” (Mike Joyce, The Washington Post

“Get him on a stage and his fingers speak a language all their own. After all, he’s not known as the ‘Italian King of the flatpick guitar’ for nothing.” (Steve Wildsmith, The Daily Times)

Tickets are $25 for adult in-person, $10 for children in-person, and $10 for live streaming. Tickets can be purchased at
