Albany Bicycle Coalition resumes annual Earth Day Bike Ride

The Albany Bicycle Coalition is resuming its annual Earth Day Bike Ride, for the first time since the pandemic. The ten-mile, mostly flat, ride will take place on Saturday, April 23, and is open to riders aged 12 and up (under 18 must be accompanied by an adult). Saturday, April 23 2022. Meet by 1:00pm at Corning Preserve Boat Launch, Albany.

Free admission
Ten-mile round trip, mostly flat. Primarily low-traffic streets and bike path, based on CapitalNYBikeMap.com  

Informative earth-related talks at: South End Connector multi-use path, Radix Ecological Sustainability Center, Livingston Avenue Bridge, DGS recycling center, warehouse district. 

Optional refreshment stop at end of ride.
Total time: 2 1/2 hours, 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM.
Helmets and signed waiver required.
Minimum age 12; riders under age 18 must be accompanied by adult.
