Crash Test Dummies to Appear at The Egg on May 13th
ALBANY – Thirty years after the recording of their album, The Ghosts That Haunt Me, Canadian group Crash Test Dummies is once again going on tour. For part of the US leg of the tour, the critically acclaimed band is slated to perform in The Swyer Theatre at The Egg in Albany on May 13th as part of the venue’s Rhythm International Series. Doors to the show open at 6:30 pm with a 7:30 pm start time.

Starting with their hit single, “Superman’s Song,” off of The Ghosts That Haunt Me, the band has achieved many accolades throughout their career. With Grammy nominations for Best New Artist, Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group, Best Alternative Music Album and a Juno Award for Group of the Year, success continued throughout the 1990s with songs such as “Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm,” “The Ballad of Peter Pumpkinhead,” “Swimming in Your Ocean,” “Afternoons & Coffeespoons” and others. The group parted ways to pursue solo projects, but reunited for a sold out 25th Anniversary Tour and are now back again with original members Brad Roberts, Ellen Reid, Dan Roberts, and Mitch Dorge.
