The Moth, True Stories Told Live, to Return to Troy Music Hall Next Year
TROY – On the heels of it sold-out performance, The Moth, True Stories Told Live, has announced it’ll be returning to Troy Savings Bank Music Hall next year, April 7th, 2023. The name of the event advertises extremely well what audience members can expect: true stories, told live, and without notes. Those that attend the event have the opportunity to hear real-life experiences from various people and walks of life.

With over 50,000 stories told across 6000-plus events held since its first in 1997, The Moth celebrates the ability of true, personal storytelling to illuminate both the diversity and commonality of human experience. People all over the world and from all walks of life: astronauts, students, a dental hygienist, a hotdog eating champion, a mechanic, exonerated prisoners, veterans, Nobel laureates, and everyone in between, share their stories on stage in front of a live audience. Through live and virtual shows, storytelling workshops, a podcast, Peabody Award-winning Radio Hour, and New York Times Best Selling books, The Moth brings the power of personal storytelling to millions of people each year—creating community and building empathy around the world.
