State Champs kick off Albany’s Alive at Five series

The City of Albany and Key Bank are happy to announce that local favorites STATE CHAMPS are the first headliner for this year’s popular Alive at Five music series. This concert will also serve as a release show for their new album, Kings of the New Age. Fellow Albany natives Young Culture will open the show.

STATE CHAMPS formed in Albany in 2010. They are signed to Pure Noise Records and have released four albums, two of which peaked in the Top 5 of the US Rock, Indie, and Alternative charts. Their most recent album, Kings of the New Age, was released on May 13, and they are currently touring Europe in support of the same.

The show is scheduled for June 9th, 6:30 pm, at Jennings Landing, and is (as always) free. Additional bands for the summertime series will be announced shortly.
