Jimmy Eat World to Play Empire Live on September 28th

ALBANY – On September 28th, alt-rockers Jimmy Eat World are slated to perform at Empire Live in Albany, in support of their Something Loud tour. Appearing with them is the power-pop foursome Charly Bliss.

Jimmy Eat World formed in Mesa, Arizona in 1993. They broke through with 2001’s Bleed American, and have gone on to release six more successful albums, all with the same lineup. In 2019, they released their latest album, Surviving, and returned to live performances (post-Covid) in 2021 at Lollapalooza. Earlier this year they finished off a tour with Dashboard Conventional, which will be followed by a series of festival dates.

Charly Bliss is based out of Brooklyn, and is fronted by singer Eva Hendricks. Their breakthrough 2017 album Guppy was particularly well-received, and was followed up with the 2019 releases of Young Enough and the Supermoon EP.

Doors to the show will open at 7:00 pm with an 8:00 pm start time. Tickets are $45 in advance, $50 day of show, and are on sale now.
