Roger McGuinn to Perform at The Egg, June 11th

ALBANY – Appearing at The Egg in Albany on Saturday, June 11th, is Roger McGuinn, legendary frontman of The Byrds, as part of the venue’s American Roots & Branches series.

As the frontman of The Byrds, Roger McGuinn and his trademark 12-string Rickenbacker guitar pioneered folk-rock and, by extension, country-rock, influencing everyone from the Beatles to Tom Petty in the process. Roger’s solo show is an historic tour of songs and stories exploring the heyday of the folk boom of the ‘60s and the superstardom of the The Byrds. As a solo artist, McGuinn has released 10 albums, and continues to tour regularly.
