Punk Rocker, Gibby Haynes, to Perform at No Fun, July 22nd

TROY – On July 22nd, No Fun in Troy is offering a special performance by Gibby Haynes, leader of the legendary punk-band, Butthole Surfers. Accompanying Haynes that night is the Paul Green Rock Academy. This is a show set to deliver high-energy and great times; you won’t want to miss this.

In addition to being the founder and lead singer of Butthole Surfers, Haynes has acted in many movies, played in side projects bands with Johnny Depp and Flea, published a YA novel, been a painter and DJ

Paul Green is the founder of School of Rock. It’s joked that he was probably played by Jack Black in the movie of the same name. Graduating from law school at 48, Green has since opened The Paul Green Rock Academy.

Gibby has toured with Paul Green’s students every three years or so, always with mind bending results, including a legendary headlining set at the 2019 Meltasia festival. This is the fourth time they have all gotten back together, and this tour features new original material that will be recorded and released after this tour.

The show starts at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $15 in advance and can be purchased here. Tickets are $20 at the door.
