41st Annual Asbury Short Film Concert to Return to The Linda, October 22nd

ALBANY – Happening on October 22nd at The Linda is the 41st Annual Asbury Short Film Concert. With Richard Lovrich as guest host for the evening, those in attendance will get a chance to bear witness to a litany of award-winning short films.

Now in its 41st year, the Asbury Shorts Film Concert give you a rare opportunity to view those mini gems on a big screen in a real theater format. The event spans any and all genres of short films—from animation, comedy and drama to documentary, experimental and everything else in between at theaters, museums and performing arts centers in cities across America. Those that come will finally be in-the-know when it comes to award-winning short films.

As creative director at Proctors, Richard Lovrich is responsible for the visual style of the organization; his photography has defined a crisp, passionate and captivating look for over a decade. Before coming to Proctors, Lovrich was an award-winning art director for Albany’s Times Union. A New York City native, his work as a freelance photographer and portraitist–including current projects documenting the lives of those with the genetic disorder Alpha-1, as well as members of the creative economy in New York’s Capital Region–continues to take him around the world.
