Memorial Meltdown Returns to Lake George
With the long, Memorial Day weekend right around the corner, you’ve certainly started amassing plans for cookouts or pool parties or anything else to avoid doing yard work. And if you’re still in the market for a great way to spend the beautiful weekend ahead, look no further than Memorial Meltdown returning to Lake George this Saturday and Sunday.
Presented by Vermont jamband Twiddle, the two-day all-ages festival will take place at the Charles R. Wood Festival Commons in downtown Lake George. For Twiddle fans, the weekend will be rather bittersweet, as the band announced earlier this year an indefinite hiatus after 2023. With this in mind, they’ve assembled a cast of support characters not to be missed, including Annie in the Water, Dogs in a Pile and Mihali, among others.
Memorial Meltdown is produced by the same folks who produce Adirondack Independence Music Festival and will also feature a variety of food and craft vendors. Gates open each day at 1:30pm with music starting at 2:30pm. Tickets for the family friendly event are on sale now and children 12
and under are free! For more info visit www.memorialmeltdown.com.
