In the wake of the pandemic, a group of Capital Region musicians formed Neon Avenue as a creative outlet. What began as casual jam sessions evolved into a dedicated band that quickly gained popularity in the Grateful Dead tribute scene in Upstate NY. Comprised of experienced musicians from various local groups, Neon Avenue sets itself apart through unique setlist arrangements, extended improvisation, and a focus on playing deeper cuts from the Grateful Dead, Jerry Garcia Band, and Ratdog catalogs.
