Nickel Creek Reunion Tour 2024: Chris Thile and Band Return to Troy Saving Bank Music Hall
After embarking on a solo tour, Chris Thile will return to Troy Savings Bank Music Hall on March 22, 2024, with his original group, Nickel Creek.
Nickel Creek released its latest album, “Celebrants,” in March 2023. Its 2024 tour is the band’s first extensive tour since reuniting in 2014.
Nickel Creek released their self-titled debut album in 2000, which received critical acclaim and helped establish them within the progressive bluegrass and acoustic music scene. The group’s music is characterized by intricate instrumental arrangements, heartfelt lyrics, and a modern sensibility that pushes the boundaries of traditional genres.

Since the band’s reformation in 2014, Nickel Creek has delighted audiences with occasional intimate shows and festival performances. While the group has explored these collective endeavors, each member, including Chris Thile, Sara Watkins, and Sean Watkins, has also devoted time to solo musical pursuits.
Thile performed solo last month at Troy Savings Bank Music Hall.
Ticket prices for next March’s show range from $39.50 to $119.50. Additionally, there is an option for a VIP experience, which includes one premium reserved seat, access to a private pre-show performance by Nickel Creek, a private Q&A session with the band, a limited edition poster signed by the band members, a Celebrants Club enamel pin, early entry to the venue, crowd-free merchandise shopping and an on-site event host.
