Judas Priest returning to MVP Arena in May
Heavy metal band Judas Priest is coming back to MVP Arena in Albany on May 21 on its “The Invincible Shield Tour.” Joining the group on this tour will be heavy metal Swedish band Sabaton.

Judas Priest previously performed at the venue back in October 2022 with opening act Queensrÿche.
The legendary heavy metal powerhouse Judas Priest, from Birmingham, England and formed in 1969. The band initially secured its place in music history with iconic albums such as “Sad Wings of Destiny” and “Sin After Sin,” featuring metal anthems such as “Sinner” and “Hell Bent for Leather.” Judas Priest also pioneered the now synonymous leather-and-studs image associated with metal culture.
The band released their latest single, “Panic Attack,” last month.
The tour will begin on April 18 at Toyota Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford, Conn., and conclude on May 22 at Empower Federal Credit Union Amphitheater at Lakeview in Syracuse.
Tickets go on sale on Nov. 17.
