John McCutcheon

Virtuoso instrumentalist, powerful singer-songwriter and storyteller, John McCutcheon performs songs including a selection from his 32nd recording Bucket List, to be formally released in September 2021.

Long one of America’s most respected and loved folksingers, he is master of a dozen different acoustic instruments including banjo, guitar and fiddle, but most uniquely the rare and beautiful hammered dulcimer. Hailed by critics and singers around the globe, his recordings have garnered every imaginable honor.

McCutcheon feels most at home in live performance. He has brought his music into the lives and homes of one of the broadest audiences any folk musician has ever enjoyed. People of every generation and background seem to feel at home in a concert hall when John McCutcheon takes the stage, with the Washington Post describes as “little feats of magic,” “breathtaking in their ease and grace…” and “like a conversation with an illuminating old friend.”

Whether in print, on record, or on stage, he communicates with his audience with versatility, charm, wit and pure talent.

The event is finished.
