Lark Hall’s latest “Window Sessions” will feature Victory Soul Orchestra and Jordan Taylor Hill & Friends in a fundraiser performance centered around uplifting black voices and bringing awareness to social justice causes. Taking place on the historic date that commemorates the emancipation of slavery, the artists are playing in efforts to heighten awareness of social injustice and to recognize the groups in our community that highlight the voices and needs of black people.

Victory Soul Orchestra is a hometown horn funk favorite. The dirty sounds of New Orleans brass drive their sound with some influences including Galactic as well as the Dap Kings. You can also find them fronted by Albany’s own JB aka Dirty Moses. Their efforts combined help create a funk/rap show that brings the house down. In January 2019 they released their first album of vinyl titled Astrobeat.
