Regarded in the industry and by their peers as one of the most prolific and hardworking artists in the business, Melissa Ferrick is known for intricate guitar playing, poetic lyrics, and a style floating somewhere between alternative rock, punk, and folk. They have released seventeen albums over twenty-five years, won numerous awards for songwriting, production, and performance and toured with Morrissey, Weezer, John Hiatt, Ani DiFranco, Suzanne Vega, Shawn Colvin, and many others.. Currently Professor of the Practice at Northeastern, following several years teaching songwriting at Berklee, Melissa tours regularly throughout North America.
