No, did you? Matt Chinian has. Chinian documents places and scenes that present fascinating color fields. He paints typically overlooked locales asking to be found. Many of his works are recorded in and around the Capital Region, maybe even in your town. Enjoy Chinian’s wandering eye through his painterly hand that depicts the beautiful to the sublime in this lovely exhibition of his works.

Join exhibiting artist Matt Chinian for a hands on a one-day workshop to learn about his painting process. Students will have the opportunity to learn basic observational painting skills using the principles of the sight-size technique. This technique is a great learning tool for painters and will help students to see objectively how what he or she has painted compares directly to their surroundings.
