The “Big Show” for Big Joe

As many of you know, we lost Big Joe Shea, an AIMF crew and famly member last month.
Joe was more than just our Head of Security, he was my best frend whom I considered my brother.

I grieve the only way I know how…I’m throwing him a kick ass party to celebrate our love and all the years of great times together as well as raise some funds for his family.

Please join us in celebrating the life of our beloved Joseph Shea on Friday, January 17th, from 7pm-12am at Putnam Place in Saratoga Springs, NY.

Joe would have celebrated his 48th birthday on January 14th had he not been taken from us suddenly in November.

ALL proceeds from this event will go to his immediate family.

For those of you that don’t know, the family was not only dealing with losing Joe, but at the same time, his youngest brother Franklin was in the hospital fighting for his life as well. Happily and thankfully after an extended battle, Franklin survived and is on his way to recovery but has a long road ahead.
What this family has been through in the last month is unimaginable and in-comprehendible to all.

Big Joe left us way too early and we are all completely heartbroken.

We are throwing this party to remember just how happy go lucky he was. We called him the “Big Show” because that’s exactly what he was. Larger than life, loud, and proud.
He was like a rock on the outside and nothing short of a teddy bear on the inside.
He would always help you or have your back as long as you “carry your weight” and “don’t shit where you eat”, which is a trait that is shared by his whole family.

Doors will open at 6:30pm, there will be Hors D’oeurves from 7-9pm followed by classic rock music from Dashboard Anthem. Cash bar.

If you know anything about the neighborhood we grew up in, then you know we loved to party!!
The Southgate Gators are notorious for the parties we threw. It was our means of “social media” in the 70’s and 80’s.

It is in that style that we will come together for this old school celebration. Lets get together, tell stories, and reminisce on all the great times we had as well as what the future might bring. Joe would really like that. <3
