First Friday Albany Application

Free and open to the public, First Friday Albany features new art, live music, and special events on the first Friday of every month at dozens of galleries, retailers, and nonprofits throughout the City of Albany. First Friday has always provided an economic boost to the city, and that’s something organizers are hoping to grow exponentially, especially now after the pandemic, when our artists and small businesses need it the most.

Now expanded to include more neighborhoods within the city limits, First Friday provides multiple ways for businesses, organizations, and artists to participate.

• Curate art from a local artist in your business or establishment any time of day on First Friday. No need to stay open late; we can help connect you with an artist!
• Provide a discount for services on First Friday, or honor a special menu or discount only available on First Friday.
• Create your own event–get creative! The sky’s the limit!
